Vedic Karma Theory and Reiki
Karma :
Karma is summation
of our actions in present life and in the previous births. Thinking is mental
Karma. Law of Karma means Law of Causation. Each cause produces an effect. Desire
produces Karma. Each action has a desire and thought behind it. We take birth
and re-birth to reap the fruits of our Karma. As we sow so we reap. Our each
thought, each word, each action is weighed in scales of Divine justice. There
is a connection between what is being done right now by us and what will
happen in future. A seed of Neem cannot grow into a mango tree.
If we sow seed of evil action we will reap pain and suffering; if of good actions we will reap happiness. Whatever we sow by our action it comes back to us. If we make other person happy by our kind acts, words or giving charity etc we get fruit of happiness. If we make other person feel sad by our cruel acts, oppression or insult we get pain, misery in return. Our action of the past is responsible for our present condition. Our present action will shape our Future.
Thought :
Entertain good thoughts and you will be always happy. Entertain evil thoughts and you will be surrounded by unfavourable circumstances. Thoughts makes our character, thoughts materialise and become an action
Conduct:
Conduct moulds our character. For good conduct a constant vigilance and strong discipline is required. We have to watch our each thought, each word and every action. Pranayam and Mauna (Silence) helps us to control our impulses. Destiny is our own making.
Types of Karma:
1) Sanchita ( Accumulated )
·

Karmas of Past lives.
·

person's aptitude, desires, inclinations, character and capacities.
2) Prarabdha ( Fruitifying )

Sanchit karma responsible for present body.
·
It cannot be changed.
It is exhausted by experience. We pay our past Debts.
3) Agami (Current )

the future.
Freewill:
We are architect
and master of our own future and fortune. We are responsible for our present
state. Happiness and sufferings is our own making. We have no freedom to
determine the result of our action. But we have freedom to determine the course
of our action. What we are at present is the result what we thought and did in
past. What we will be in the future will be result of what we think and do
now.
The Law of Karma is Law of Cause and Effect. Samsara exists in order that the individual soul may learn to realise itself. Birth is followed by Death and Death by Re-Birth.
